Clinico-Functional Parallels And Mechanisms Of СоAdjacency Between Chronic Gastroduodenal And Hepatobiliary Pathology In Children
Keywords:

Chronic digestive disorders in pediatric patients are characterized by a high frequency of concomitant lesions across various gastrointestinal tracts, among which interconnected impairments of the gastroduodenal zone and the hepatobiliary system hold a distinct position. This article presents the results of an analysis investigating the pathogenic со-adjacency of chronic gastroduodenitis and biliary tract dysfunction in the pediatric population. Key neurohumoral and motor-evacuation mechanisms supporting the mutual aggravation of inflammatory-destructive processes in the upper gastrointestinal mucosa and motor-tonic disorders of the biliary tract are thoroughly reviewed. The clinical necessity for a comprehensive, coordinated therapeutic approach to managing this combined pathology is substantiated in order to prevent disease chronicity and improve the overall quality of life in young patients.
